Its only week 10 in the NFL season and it appears the Eagles season is all but over and with the Flyers locked out and the Sixers struggling the only thing we have to look forward to is February 12 when the Phillies pitchers and catchers report to Clearwater for the start of Spring Training. Now I know your all wondering how, with the seaon ending the way it did last year I can say I am looking forward to the 2013 Phillies season? Well with Ryan Howard having all offseason to build up strength in his surgically repaired achillies tendon and Chase Utley and Freddy Galvis having time to get healthy from their injuries, thats a few bright spots right there. Now to the dark spots, there are still gaping holes in this Phillies team at 3rd base, and all over the outfield. Roy Halladay and Cliff Lee are no getting any younger and Halladay certainly showed it last year. As of now Ruben Amaro Jr. hasn't made any signifigant moves this offseason. Its still early into the offseason and there is some options for him to look into.
